I believe they are a grassroots campaign organization. I think that as an intern you would most likely be doing door to door or street corner canvassing to raise money and awareness of environmental issues. not totally sure but I think they have been involved in lobbying around such issues as the brownfield restoration for the site of the new Columbus casino.

Columbus marathon is relatively flat. It is well organized and goes through a lot of nice neighborhoods. Crowd though is not very strong. It is easy for friends and families to go to three or four or even five different points in the course to see you run.
