Yesterday the Prime Time Emmy Awards 2009 were broadcast on US TV. The show which saw many great actresses ans actors named for awards was broadcast on CBS TV. In the Prime Time Emmy Awards opening, How I Met Your Mummy star, Neil Patrick Harris did a little dance and song.
This years Prime Time Emmy Awards mark its 61st anniversary since the show commenced back in 1948. It was hosted in LA, California at the NOKIA Theatre. tt seemed to be a great event with some anticipated winners, as well as some very surprising ones.
Amazingly Neil Patrick Harris put on a little performance at the Prime Time Emmy Awards 09 opening. His performance consisted of him singing the track, “Put Down That Remote”. Neil Patrick Harris plays the task of a womaniser, Barney, on the preferred comedy / drama series, How I Met Your Mum ( Frequently shortened to HIMYM ). He also plays himself in the two part film, Harold and Kumar where he’s a rather sadistic actor who enjoys sleeping around with plenty of whores while steeling Harolds Vehicle . Other actors in the movie include Kal Penn who plays Kumar and John Cho.
The winners for the Prime Time Emmy Awards 2009 included : Mad Men for best drama, thirty Rock for best comedy, Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad for best drama actor, Glenn Close from Damages for best drama actress, Michael Emerson from Lost for best supporting drama actor, Cherry Jones from 24 for best supporting drama actress, Alec Baldwin from thirty Rock for best comedy actor, Toni Collete from US of Tara for best comedy actress, Jon Cryer from 2 and a Half Men for best suppoerting comedy actor, Kristin Chenoweth from Pushing Daisies for best supporting comedy actress, The dazzling Race for best fact competition, Jeff Probst from survivor for best fact competition host.
