Danny,Let me commend you on a well written piece. I would like to expand the discussion though from simply “what must I do to be saved?” to “what do we mean by Is salvation principally an individual affair or communal? Is salvation only a matter of “forgiveness of sins?”I think those are questions that are digging into. One of my favorite verses comes from that Pentecostal preacher, Peter, when he declares we have been “redeemed from the empty way of life” handed down to us. That is an interesting take on salvation but fully in tune with the Hebrew Bible.Thanks for stimulating us.Shalom,Bobby Valentine
