Jeff Dunham’s 100 city, all-new “Identity Crisis” tour continues to pack major venues worldwide. The show consistently delivers a cutting edge comedy experience that has catapulted Dunham and his comedic crew; Walter the Grumpy Retiree, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, the beer-fueled redneck Bubba J and the manic purple creature Peanut into the consciousness of the nation and comedy fans around the globe.

The phenomenal international success of Dunham and his cohorts have been driven by his Comedy Central specials, which set global records for both ratings and sales. Dunham recently taped his fourth comedy special at the Landmark Theatre in Richmond, VA. The New Special follows his ever increasing worldwide popularity by making an unprecedented multi-territory premiere in a dozen countries upon its broadcast on Comedy Central September 25th with the DVD release two days later (September 27th). Coming this fall, Dunham’s fascinating life & success story will be told in a two-hour episode of “Biography” on A & E’s Biography channel.

The New York Times Magazine declared Jeff Dunham “the most successful comedian working in America.” Dunham was recently named Pollstar’s #1 Comedy Tour in North America for three years running as well as their Top Worldwide Tour for the second year in a row. In addition, Dunham’s undeniable talent placed him on Forbes magazine’s Celebrity 100 roster of most powerful entertainers for the past two years.

Dunham’s autobiography “All By My Selves: Walter, Peanut, Achmed, And Me” debuted in late 2010 and instantly climbed the New York Times best sellers for three weeks running list and achieved a Five-Star Reader Rating on Amazon. The book candidly recounts Dunham’s amazing rise to international fame beginning with his first public performances for a mere a show as a fourth-grader in his Dallas, TX hometown, followed by years of intensive touring on the comedy club circuit from his college years into adulthood to becoming an international comedy phenomenon. The audio book, which Jeff narrates and features his wise cracking cohorts, is also available as a download and a 7 CD set in major retail stores nationwide. The paperback publication will hit store shelves on September 9th.

The amazing rise of Jeff Dunham to becoming the international king of contemporary comedy continues apace, with the beginning of 2011 seeing the launch of Jeff’s third multi-country European tour, on which he continued setting top venue firsts and record ticket sales, including sold out shows at the largest indoor venues in Holland and Belgium, the latter, for two nights in a row, filling a total of 24,000 seats and sold the most tickets of any previous international comedy act in Switzerland. After stops in Denmark and Norway, Jeff wrapped with his French debut at the L’Olympia in Paris, the first show by an international comedian at France’s most prestigious venue since Jerry Lewis performed there.

Recently, ABC-TV’s award-winning news show “Nightline” followed Dunham on tour, recounting his rise and experiencing life on the tour bus with the world’s most successful comedian.
