    My idea of a QS would be 6ip with 2 runs that equates to a 3.00 ERA, along with less than 8 baserunners in those 6 innings, that equates to less than a 1.4 whip, which i use to evaluate a pitchers I do agree with your description and analog that MLB baseball is skewed when you consider that the “Cubs” rated in the top 5 in QS last season and finished 5th in their division.
