  2. Contergen says:

If anyone but Bethesda was developing it, I’d say woohoo. But, as with all of their games, it will be bug ridden beyond enjoyable playability. These are after all, the folks who made CTD a household term.

  23. bbaattttlleemmooddee says:

The F2P model was always much less popular in western society. It has been gaining popularity not because players prefer the F2P model, but because it’s easier to profit from it. With F2P, there is no longer a need for developers to spend several years creating one game. The goal is to make the game just fun enough to get people addicted. And why wouldn’t we play it? It’s free! Then after we’re hooked, they can easily pedal the pixels. It doesn’t take much to keep us addicted. Just a community.

  24. bbaattttlleemmooddee says:

Consoles aren’t going away and F2P model isn’t taking over the industry. I don’t know why people keep writing about this stuff, because history shows us that it simply isn’t true. When new technology begins to outclass old tech, we take the best parts from each and combine them. Consoles will take notes from computers. Computers will take notes from consoles. Eventually, we’ll combine them into one powerful entertainment system.
On a related note, TV will merge in as well.
